  • Job Description This role focuses on assembling, testing, and packaging electro-mechanical products in a lean manufacturing environment.
You will work with small parts, hand tools, and basic testing equipment to ensure products meet quality standards before they are prepared for shipment. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow visual and written instructions, and comfort working in a fast-paced production cell with rotating team assignments. Responsibilities Assemble electro-mechanical products using small parts and hand tools in a production cell environment. Perform basic go/no-go testing of circuit boards to verify functionality. Carry out wire bonding and RF soldering for sub-assemblies as required. Follow visual and written work instructions to add customer-specific components to products. Package finished products accurately and stage them for shipping according to established procedures. Notify material handlers promptly of any part shortages or material issues. Lift and move items up to 35 pounds safely as part of daily tasks. Use computers to access work instructions, record production data, or complete basic documentation. Maintain productivity and quality standards while working on assembly lines and general production tasks. Collaborate with team members and rotate between different teams and tasks as needed within the production cell. Essential Skills Hands-on experience with assembly work, particularly involving small parts. Proficiency using hand tools in a production or assembly environment. Experience with mechanical assembly and general production processes. Ability to perform basic go/no-go testing of circuit boards. Capability to lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basis. Strong understanding of English to read, follow, and communicate work instructions effectively. Ability to use a computer for basic tasks such as accessing instructions or recording information. Work history in production involving small parts or similar fine assembly work. Ability to stand for extended periods during the workday. Comfort working with packaging tasks, including preparing products for shipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with wire bonding and RF soldering for electronic sub-assemblies. Familiarity with assembly line operations and assembly production environments. Exposure to lean manufacturing practices and kanban systems. Experience working in an ESD-sensitive environment. Ability to provide references covering the last 5 jobs or 7 years of employment. Flexible and adaptable personality, with willingness to rotate between teams and tasks as needed. Why Work Here? Work involves packaging and staging products for shipment in a structured, process-oriented setting, with an emphasis on flexibility, teamwork, and adherence to established procedures. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
