Description Zin Solutions is seeking a skilled Mechanic/Assembler to support the fabrication and assembly of mission-critical structures, including patented telescopic towers and tactical mobile chassis, for U.S. military, federal agency, and first responder customers. This hands-on role is essential to delivering reliable, field-ready equipment on tight production timelines. Assemble mechanical, structural, and hydraulic/pneumatic components per engineering drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials (BOMs)
Perform precision fitting, torqueing, and alignment of subassemblies to meet dimensional and quality specifications
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation
Conduct basic troubleshooting and quality inspection of completed assemblies
Maintain accurate production and traceability records in compliance with government contracting requirements
Support parts staging, kitting, and inventory coordination with the stockroom team
Adhere to all safety protocols, ITAR/export control policies, and quality management procedures
Collaborate with engineering and production management to resolve build issues and improve assembly processes Qualifications 2+ years of mechanical assembly, fabrication, or maintenance experience (defense, aerospace, or heavy equipment industry preferred)
Ability to read mechanical/structural drawings and use precision measuring tools
Experience with hand and power tools; hydraulic/pneumatic systems experience a plus
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Must be a U.S. Citizen
