Can you troubleshoot both the electrical and mechanical sides of industrial equipment? Clemens Food Group is hiring an experienced Industrial Electro-Mechanical Technician to maintain and repair the automated equipment that keeps our food-manufacturing operation moving. You'll diagnose complex equipment failures, complete hands-on repairs, and help improve equipment reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You'll Need Five or more years of industrial maintenance experience in automated manufacturing Experience troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical equipment Knowledge of AC and DC circuits, including single-phase and three-phase power Experience with motors, starters, contactors, transformers, overload protection, and circuit-protection devices Experience maintaining conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, belts, pumps, valves, hydraulics, and pneumatics Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals Experience installing conduit, raceway, conductors, disconnects, electrical enclosures, and equipment power circuits Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout, electrical-safe-work practices, and machine safety High school diploma or equivalent Relevant industrial maintenance, electrical, millwright, mechatronics, military, or technical training—or equivalent experience What You'll Do Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures on automated production equipment Repair equipment safely and efficiently to minimize downtime Install and replace motors, starters, contactors, transformers, power supplies, and electrical components Maintain gearboxes, bearings, shafts, couplings, chains, belts, sprockets, and pulleys Troubleshoot conveyors, pumps, valves, actuators, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems Perform equipment alignment, adjustment, tensioning, lubrication, and component replacement Install conduit, raceway, junction boxes, disconnects, conductors, and equipment power cables Test circuits and equipment using multimeters, clamp meters, insulation-resistance testers, and other diagnostic tools Complete preventive and predictive maintenance Support equipment installation, relocation, commissioning, and startup Fabricate or modify equipment guards, brackets, supports, and related components Identify recurring failures and recommend reliability improvements Document repairs, equipment changes, parts usage, and failure information Provide technical guidance to less-experienced maintenance team members Preferred Qualifications Associate degree or technical certificate in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, mechanical technology, or mechatronics State or local electrical license Training in industrial electrical systems, mechanical power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or precision maintenance Welding, machining, or industrial fabrication experience Experience with SAP or another maintenance-management system Experience in food processing, high-volume production, or another regulated manufacturing environment Why Clemens Food Group?
