Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a hands-on, curious, and motivated Assistant Industrial Mechanical Technician to work alongside experienced engineers and technicians in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving our production equipment. In this fast-paced role, you will have a direct impact on our success by taking ownership of meaningful work, learning new technologies, and helping build better processes while wearing multiple hats. Responsibilities Assist with preventive maintenance, inspections, lubrication, and routine servicing of manufacturing and filling equipment. Work alongside senior technicians to diagnose and repair mechanical and basic electrical issues while building your technical skills. Help set up and adjust production equipment—including tube filling machinery—for different product runs. Look for opportunities to make maintenance procedures, equipment reliability, and workflows more efficient. Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects as we scale our manufacturing operation. Maintain accurate maintenance records, inventory updates, and equipment documentation. Keep tools, work areas, and equipment clean, organized, and inspection-ready. Follow FDA, cGMP, and OSHA requirements while helping maintain a culture of safety and quality. Requirements 0-2 years of hands-on experience, technical training, or coursework in industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, manufacturing, or a related field. Experience with tube filler set up and maintenance Basic understanding of mechanical systems; exposure to electrical troubleshooting is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex mechanical issues quickly Strong communication skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
