RESPONSIBILITIES
Final Assembly Operations:
Perform assembly of components and subassemblies according to work instructions, blueprints, and standard operating procedures.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements; identify and report defects or discrepancies.
Tool & Equipment Use:
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment required for final assembly processes.
Production Efficiency:
Meet daily production goals while maintaining accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
Documentation:
Accurately complete production records, checklists, and required documentation in a timely manner.
Material Handling:
Move materials and components within the work area using proper handling techniques and equipment.
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
Safety & Housekeeping:
Follow all safety guidelines, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, blueprints, or diagrams
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
This position may require standing for extended periods, repetitive motions, and lifting up to 50 lbs while working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and industrial conditions
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
- Flexibility to work different shifts or overtime as needed

The Team Coordinator is primarily responsible for ensuring continuous production flow by relieving bottlenecks within the department, filling in positions as needed, identifying part/resource shortages, and finding solutions and/or notifying Supervisors that solutions are needed, facilitating implementation of Lean Manufacturing processes, and requesting non-personnel related assistance of other departments by completing work orders and requesting engineering and SFA assistance.
