Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a reliable and driven Department Lead to support our growing operations. This is a newly created position due to company growth, offering an opportunity to step into a leadership role within a fast-paced machine and fabrication shop environment. This is a manufacturing - machining and fabrication environment! In this position, you will oversee inventory levels, coordinate with procurement, and lead a small team of assemblers to ensure efficient workflow and production continuity. Key Responsibilities Manage and monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of parts at all times Coordinate with procurement to replenish materials and maintain optimal inventory levels Must have experience in leading and directing a team of 4-5 assemblers Ensure production workflow runs smoothly and efficiently Track and maintain accurate inventory records using Sage Support hiring efforts and onboarding of additional assemblers as needed Promote a safe, organized, and productive shop environment QualificationsRequired Strong work history, work ethic and dependability Basic leadership or supervisory experience
REQUIRED
Proficiency in Microsoft Office , especially Excel Solid time management and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with a team Preferred Experience in a manufacturing, machine shop, or fabrication environment Familiarity with inventory systems (Sage preferred) Bilingual skills (a plus for future team growth)
Compensation & Benefits Pay:
