Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Golf Cart Mechanic/Assembler, where you will play a vital role in building new electric golf carts to ensure top-quality performance and customer satisfaction. Edge-EV is looking to add 4 full time positions. We work Monday - Friday allowing weekends off. Mechanical skills and knowledge of tools is a must, but we will provide training. Responsibilities Assemble new golf carts by following detailed technical specifications and assembly instructions Conduct routine inspections of assembled carts to identify potential issues or defects Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and battery-related problems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal cart performance and safety standards are met Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and assembly processes for quality control purposes Collaborate with team members to improve assembly procedures and troubleshoot complex issues efficiently Experience Prior experience in vehicle repair or assembly, preferably with electric or small engine vehicles Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters is highly desirable Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical diagrams and manuals Ability to work independently with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to troubleshooting Basic understanding of battery systems, wiring diagrams, and electrical components is a plus Join us in delivering high-quality electric golf carts that enhance leisure experiences!
