Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Residential Elevator Technician to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and/ or repairing residential elevator systems to ensure safe, reliable operation for our customers. Your expertise will help enhance the quality of life for homeowners by delivering exceptional service and technical excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of elevator models, utilizing your mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge to solve complex challenges with confidence and enthusiasm. Duties Install new residential elevator systems according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools Repair electrical components, hydraulic systems, mechanical parts, and control panels efficiently Interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams to accurately identify system faults Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly to homeowners Document all service activities thoroughly in service reports and update maintenance records regularly Requirements Proven experience in industrial maintenance, field service, or industrial mechanic roles with a focus on elevators or similar machinery Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience and familiarity with hydraulics systems Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals effectively Hands-on experience with troubleshooting electrical components, hydraulic systems, and mechanical parts Knowledge of industrial or residential elevator systems is highly preferred Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Valid technical certifications or licenses related to elevator maintenance or industrial mechanics are a plus Join us if you're passionate about delivering safe, reliable solutions while providing outstanding service!
