An Industrial Mechanic repairs and maintains complex machines used in production or manufacturing, such as conveyor belts; may use computerized diagnostic equipment.
The mechanical assembly team member is responsible for assembling HVAC and industrial cooling equipment according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and Airsys quality standards. This position supports production objectives through safe, efficient, and quality-focused assembly operations.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES- ESSENTIAL
Assemble HVAC and cooling equipment per work instructions, drawings, and specifications Install mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related components as trained. Operate hand tools, power tools, and torque tools correctly and safely. Perform in-process and final quality inspections Follow all safety, PPE, and lockout/tagout requirements Maintain workstation organization per 5S standards Complete production documentation accurately Communicate safety, quality, or material concerns to supervision Meet production targets while maintaining quality standards Support continuous improvement initiatives Perform other duties as assigned
