Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

We are looking to add a high qualified overnight Maintenance Tech to our team. The Overnight Maintenance Tech will be work as a team of one to address off-hours Maintenance issues with the overnight Production staff. They may also compete designated project work. As part of the Maintenance department, you will use your troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues with equipment, and make repairs to Injection Molding and Blow Molding machines and other production equipment, to make a difference for our operation and customers by minimizing delays in production orders. Use skills such as rigging, repair work, mechanical, welding, and/or fabricating to help complete projects in the Maintenance Department. This is a hands-on position. We are looking for someone with previous experience working on industrial equipment and machines. Candidates with hydraulics knowledge and experience will receive preferential consideration.

JOB DUTIES

Communicate with the Maintenance Manager to prioritize projects Electrical and electronics troubleshooting Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting Equipment maintenance and repair Assist with new equipment installations Preventative maintenance projects Communicate project completion status with management

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Understanding of industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems Ability to read electrical blueprints Ability to read industrial hydraulic schematics preferred Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems Previous machine maintenance service/repair experience Ability to switch from one project to another quickly Ability to work independently with little or no supervision Self-motivated Detailed and organized This position reports to the Maintenance Manager. HOURS Overlap with the dayshift would be imperative to complete any needed training. Whether the hours are 8am-5pm or start later is negotiable. Core hours for this role will be overnight, will work with qualified candidate to determine days and times that will work best with both candidate's schedule and business need.
