Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Carport Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of custom carports, ensuring they are built safely, accurately, and efficiently according to technical specifications and blueprints. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your craftsmanship and mechanical skills to deliver high-quality results that enhance our clients' properties. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, and have a passion for precision fabrication and assembly. Responsibilities Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication shop drawings to determine project requirements. Operate power tools, hand tools Assemble prefabricated components on-site with precision, ensuring alignment with blueprints and mechanical specifications. Maintain a clean work environment by adhering to safety procedures and properly handling all tools and materials throughout the project lifecycle. Skills Extensive construction site experience with a focus on metal fabrication and assembly projects. Proficiency in reading mechanical blueprints and interpreting technical drawings accurately. Mechanical knowledge of metal materials, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly procedures. Familiarity with power tools such as drills, grinders, saws, as well as hand tools required for construction tasks. Understanding of safety protocols related to working at heights; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Experience in interpreting technical drawings for manufacturing or mechanical fabrication projects; ability to adapt plans as needed during installation.
