Full Job Description Industrial Maintenance Technician Custom Metal Fabrication & Display Manufacturing Arlington, TX Salary:
$35/hr - $45/hr

ASAP Company Overview:
Our client is a custom manufacturing company producing retail displays, fixtures, industrial enclosures and OEM components. Its capabilities include CNC machining, turret punching, laser cutting, bending, welding, powder coating and assembly across metal, acrylic and wood products.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair CNC and metal-fabrication equipment. Candidates must have strong industrial electrical skills and direct experience maintaining Amada CNC turret punch presses.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair Amada turret punch presses and associated automation. Maintain CNC lasers, press brakes, saws, welding equipment and fabrication machinery. Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults. Troubleshoot CNC controls, PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, VFDs, motors and sensors. Repair turret, ram, clamps, tool-changing and sheet-positioning systems. Diagnose tooling alignment, punching accuracy and material-feeding issues. Perform preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance. Read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and CNC documentation. Replace motors, bearings, belts, seals, cylinders, valves and electrical components. Support equipment installation, alignment and commissioning. Document completed work through the CMMS. Follow LOTO, machine-guarding and electrical safety procedures.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience within manufacturing. Direct maintenance experience with Amada CNC turret punch presses. Experience troubleshooting CNC metal-fabrication equipment. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including 480V three-phase power. Experience with PLCs, CNC controls, HMIs, VFDs, servos, motors and sensors. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical power transmission. Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics. Strong preventive maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Experience:
Amada EM, EMK, AE, VIPROS, PEGA or ACIES equipment. Automated sheet loaders, unloaders or material towers. CNC laser cutters, press brakes and welding systems. Metal or precision-fabrication manufacturing. Welding and basic fabrication.
INDUS Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
