Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Mechanical apprentice/pipefitter to work on industrial construction projects. In this role, you assist with mechanical installation activities, follow directions of Foremen and Supervisors. . This position offers an exciting opportunity to learn a skilled trade and influence large-scale industrial developments while fostering a collaborative and safety-focused work environment. Duties Work with construction teams on industrial sites, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and safety protocols. Conduct daily work schedules, perform tasks, and take direction in completing project deadlines efficiently. Familiarity with pipeline installation procedures and related safety protocols. Solid understanding of OSHA regulations and construction site safety practices. Assisting with the installation of underground and above ground pipes, valves, fittings, and equipment Using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and lifting equipment. Helping install valves, fittings, supports, pumps, and other pipe system components Performing preventive maintenance on piping and mechanical systems Assisting with pressure testing, leak testing, and system inspections Supporting welding, brazing, and fabrication tasks Using measuring instruments, rigging equipment, and lifting devices safely Cleaning, preparing, and organizing materials and work areas Identifying and reporting damaged equipment, leaks, or safety hazards Following safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements Assisting with dismantling and replacing old or defective piping systems
Pay:
$23.00 - $30.00 per hour
