An Industrial Mechanic repairs and maintains complex machines used in production or manufacturing, such as conveyor belts; may use computerized diagnostic equipment.
Overview We are seeking a skilled Pump Mechanic to join our team. This role is responsible for the disassembly, inspection, repair, testing, and assembly of cryogenic and high-pressure pumping equipment, including reciprocating and centrifugal pumps. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience in a manufacturing or shop environment, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
Disassemble, clean, inspect, test, repair, and assemble pumping equipment, including reciprocating and centrifugal pumps Perform tear-down and rebuild of high-pressure pumping systems and related components Properly stamp or tag all parts in accordance with engineering documentation Identify problems or hazardous conditions during assembly and testing processes Inspect functionality of all parts and equipment to ensure proper operation Report any substandard conditions or quality concerns Utilize various jigs, fixtures, and tools to orient and assemble components in pre-defined positions Select and use appropriate tools and fixtures for each job Follow all verbal and written work instructions, schematics, and blueprints Maintain safe use of all equipment and tools in accordance with company policies Work collaboratively with team members to ensure high-quality work and safe work practices
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, technical certification preferred 2-5 years of experience in tear-down, assembly, repair, and maintenance of high-pressure pumping systems 2-5 years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documents Excellent attention to detail Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately Team-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and quality Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Must have own tools CS&P Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
