B Mechanic Fort Worth Division - 3.0 Fort Worth, TX Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Computer operation Technical Proficiency Full Job Description Reporting to the Fort Worth Division Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
Key responsibilities include:
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and related equipment issues on production and converting machinery. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Inspect, maintain, and repair facility utility systems, including boilers, steam generation equipment, condensate return systems, and steam distribution networks. Respond to equipment breakdowns and implement effective repair solutions in a timely manner. Interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical documentation to identify and resolve equipment issues. Maintain building systems and support facility improvement projects as needed. Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, making safety the highest priority in every task performed. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and plant performance goals. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma, technical diploma, or equivalent practical experience required. Two (2) or more years of industrial maintenance experience preferred. Experience working with manufacturing equipment, mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and steam systems. Knowledge of boiler operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting is strongly preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment. Basic computer proficiency and strong communication skills required. Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, including experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and other safe work practices. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.
