Responsibilities include:
Supervise and schedule assembly of electro-mechanical/sheet metal baggage handling conveyor systems and other similar products. Read and comprehend assembly requirements depicted on blueprints, schematics, drawings and bills of materials. Work closely with management and engineering to correct issues with parts or drawings. Work within a team environment as a leader to accomplish production goals. Work to improve the assembly efficiency and output by streamlining assembly methods and/or processes, this includes proper training of employees. Promote a safe working environment, by ensuring safety policies are known and followed at all times.
Qualifications:
Three plus years of electro-mechanical/sheet metal assembly. Experience comprehending blueprints, schematics, drawings, and bills of material. Ability to proficiently manage and supervise multiple projects simultaneously. Work closely with other department leads and management to ensure on time delivery. Excellent understanding in the use of hand tools and standard hardware. Good communication skills, ability to verbally direct others effectively, with a working knowledge of conflict resolution. Detailed Oriented, organized, self-motivated. Dependable to supervise a team and be present as a hands-on leader. Electrical wiring experience a plus. Bi-lingual (Spanish) a requirement.
