Job Description

Position Summary The Wire & Light Installer is responsible for installing and securing trailer wiring and lighting components during the trailer manufacturing process. This position requires previous experience with trailer wiring, lighting installation, or similar manufacturing assembly work. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Install and secure wiring and lighting components on trailers. Route wiring along designated areas of the trailer. Install trailer lights and related components. Connect wiring and components according to production specifications. Inspect completed work to ensure components are properly positioned and secured. Identify and report damaged wiring, missing components, or installation issues. Use hand tools and fastening equipment as required. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow company safety, quality, and production standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Previous experience with trailer wiring, trailer lighting, or similar assembly work is required. Previous trailer manufacturing or production experience preferred. Ability to follow work instructions and production specifications. Ability to safely use hand tools and production equipment. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to work at a steady pace in a production environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and work in various positions. Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements. Ability to lift and move materials and components as required. Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing facility , including exposure to varying indoor temperatures throughout the year. Work Environment This position is performed in a trailer manufacturing facility that is not temperature controlled . Employees may be exposed to hot, cold, and changing temperatures depending on the season and working conditions. The position involves working around production equipment, tools, trailers, and other manufacturing activities.
