- Lewiston, UT Overview I'm seeking a skilled and driven Master Industrial Technician to support my clients high-volume Food manufacturing facility.
You will serve as the primary troubleshooter for our automated production systems, ensuring separators, churns, pasteurizers, and packaging lines operate safely and at peak efficiency. You will work hands-on with 480V power systems, PLC-controlled equipment, and critical process instrumentation that directly impacts food safety, product quality, and plant uptime. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on mechanical, electrical, and conveyor systems Execute preventative and predictive maintenance (PM/PdM) programs Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and carry out basic root cause fixes Maintain and repair components including motors, gearboxes, belts, chains, pulleys, and conveyors Assist with electrical work including wiring, testing, and component replacement Conduct scheduled inspections and equipment testing Support fabrication, welding, and minor installations where required Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe working environment Follow all safety, food safety, and operational procedures Identify and escalate safety or maintenance concerns Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent 5+ year of hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting Basic knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics Ability to troubleshoot and repair production equipment Comfortable working overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed Ability to lift up to 75 lbs Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset Basic computer skills (e.g., Outlook, Excel) Preferred Technical or trade school education (maintenance, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, etc.) Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings/blueprints Experience with Breakers Experience within food, agriculture, or similar industries Familiarity with safety practices (LOTO, PPE, etc.)
