As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you'll be the go-to pro who keeps machinery reliable, safe, and efficient—so every product ships on time and our team succeeds together. Your Impact You'll maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, facility systems, and supporting utilities. Whether it's a quick fix that prevents a line stoppage or a planned improvement that boosts uptime, your work directly drives plant performance. Core Responsibilities Execute preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and precise adjustments on production and facility equipment Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC issues and implement effective repairs Respond rapidly to breakdowns and urgent maintenance needs to minimize downtime Document work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment history accurately Assist with equipment installations, retrofits, testing, and commissioning Partner with Production, Engineering, and Quality to improve reliability, throughput, and product quality Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and recommend process and equipment enhancements Support scheduled shutdowns, changeovers, and special projects Keep work areas safe, orderly, and clean at all times Adhere to all safety, food safety, quality, and environmental procedures What You Bring Required Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent At least 2 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial, food production, or similar settings Strong mechanical aptitude and solid troubleshooting capability Working knowledge across: mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC Able to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals Proficient with hand/power tools, precision measuring devices, and diagnostic equipment Works well independently and in a collaborative team Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed Preferred Qualifications Technical degree, apprenticeship, or vocational training in Maintenance, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, Electrical Technology, or related fields Experience with PLCs, automation systems, VFDs, robotics, and industrial controls Skilled trade certifications (Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Welding, etc.) Background in food manufacturing and familiarity with GMPs Physical Requirements Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and climb throughout the shift Routinely lift and move up to 50 pounds Work at heights and within confined spaces when required Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Work Environment You'll work within a manufacturing setting with exposure to: Moving machinery and industrial equipment Temperature variations Noise Industrial chemicals Safety is our top priority.
