Richmond, VA Job Overview Kodiak Labor Solutions is seeking experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic Journeymen for a large-scale commercial data center project in the Richmond, Virginia area. Both local and traveling candidates are encouraged to apply, with $120/day per diem available for qualified travelers. This is a 6+ month opportunity for sheet metal professionals with hands-on experience fabricating, installing, and hanging commercial ductwork. What You Will Do Fabricate, install, fit, assemble, and hang commercial sheet metal ductwork according to project drawings and specifications. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, layouts, and installation documentation independently. Measure and assemble ductwork and related components, coordinate with crews and supervision, maintain tools and equipment, and follow site-specific safety requirements. What We Are Seeking Journeyman-level sheet metal experience Proven commercial ductwork fabrication and installation experience Ability to independently read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and layouts Commercial or industrial construction experience Ability to measure, fit, assemble, and hang ductwork Standard sheet metal trade hand tools Reliable transportation to the job site Strong jobsite safety awareness Ability to work safely and effectively as part of an active construction crew Local and traveling candidates are encouraged to apply.

$30.00 - $39.00 per hour
