In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing injection molding presses and related equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on injection molding presses and auxiliary equipment. Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems using schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and analysis techniques. Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime, including electrical diagnostics and equipment troubleshooting. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory management. Conduct electrical system repairs, including high voltage and low voltage troubleshooting, electrical blueprint reading, and electrical maintenance tasks. Operate industrial machinery safely using appropriate tools such as stick welders and scissors lifts; perform welding repairs as needed. Read schematics and technical manuals to support engineering troubleshooting efforts and ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with engineering teams on equipment upgrades or modifications involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, or pneumatic systems. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to high voltage systems, HVAC/R systems (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration), and industrial mechanics. Skills Extensive experience in manufacturing facilities with a focus on industrial maintenance of injection presses or similar machinery. Strong knowledge of electrical systems—including electrical blueprint reading, electrical troubleshooting, high voltage/low voltage systems—and the use of diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters. Proficiency in mechanical repair techniques including precision measuring instruments, welding (stick welding), hydraulics, pneumatics troubleshooting, and schematics interpretation. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking. Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues involving PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HVAC/R systems, industrial electrician experience preferred. Skilled in analyzing mechanical problems quickly with excellent problem-solving skills; capable of performing equipment repair efficiently under pressure. Knowledge of industrial safety standards related to electrical systems (including high voltage), mechanical repairs, welding procedures, and hazardous environments. Effective communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration across teams.
