Electromechanical Assembly Technician TigerStop is looking for an experienced electromechanical assembly technician to join our production team in Vancouver, WA. In this hands-on role, you'll help build our automatic material positioning systems used by manufacturers across a variety of industries. What will I do at TigerStop? Build and troubleshoot electromechanical machinery and sub-assemblies Read, interpret, and work directly from electrical schematics and layouts to assemble electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components Use diagnostic tools such multi-meters and perform testing to verify proper electrical function and troubleshooting of single and three phase components Set up simple fixtures, stops, and other aids to facilitate build operation Use various hand tools such as torque screwdrivers and other commonly used tools for the assembly and connection of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components Conduct in-process inspections and testing to troubleshoot electrical and system-level issues to ensure that all TigerStop machines are built to fully satisfy established quality standards Cross-train to learn assembly methods for multiple product lines Support and participate in Lean initiatives, Kaizen events, process improvements, training, and the maintenance of area SOPs. Full-time, day-shift position. Tuesday to Friday, 6:00 am-4:30 pm. What is needed for this position? High School Diploma or GED required; additional coursework in mechanics or electronics a plus 3+ years of experience assembling electromechanical systems Ability to read, interpret, and follow electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Competency working safely with 120V, 208V, 240V, and/or 480V power Electro-mechanical troubleshooting and root-cause problem-solving Ability to use a variety of manual and power tools Ability to lift up to 50lbs. independently and stand throughout a 10-hour shift Basic computer skills, including e-mail and ERP systems Desired characteristics: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated, self-starter, energetic, team player Positive, can-do attitude Reliable with strong attendance Eagerness to learn Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions Ability to work independently and within a team Effective communicator, both written and verbal TigerStop offers competitive pay based on skills, experience, qualifications, and job-related factors and a comprehensive benefits package for our team members.
