Duties and Responsibilities:

Electrical Assemblers:

Assembles conveyor sections and subassemblies per shop order, blueprints, and schedule, making sure to follow pre-set processes and quality standards. Ability to load programs to Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC's using proper software. Ability to electrically test and troubleshoot electrical components and wiring. Utilizes hand tools such as wrenches, ratchets, pliers, screwdrivers and clamps. Operates power tools such as battery powered drills, saws, sanders, and grinders Operates overhead cranes and forklifts Uses measuring equipment frequently such as tape measures, torque wrenches, calipers and levels. Performs spot inspections throughout assembly process and final quality testing to ensure product is assembled properly and to the highest standard. Troubleshoots and tracks project status. Identifies and communicates any safety or quality issues with lead or immediate supervisor. Maintains clean and safe work area, utilizing 5S practices whenever possible Assists shipping department with crating and loading of conveyors Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
