About the Role As an Industrial Equipment Technician, you will serve as a critical member of our technical team, ensuring the seamless operation of complex manufacturing machinery. Your expertise in troubleshooting and preventative maintenance will directly impact production efficiency and facility safety. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve complex issues across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize operational downtime. Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan and reliability of plant assets. Document all maintenance activities and repairs accurately within our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance and uphold high standards of product quality. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment by strictly adhering to safety protocols and industrial best practices. Proactively identify and report potential safety risks to leadership to ensure a secure workplace for all personnel. Utilize technical schematics and blueprints to perform precise repairs on injection molding and support equipment. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in an industrial maintenance or mechanical repair role. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Demonstrated proficiency in at least three core technical areas: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, or HVAC. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 90 pounds. Basic computer literacy for navigating CMMS software and digital work orders. Possession of personal hand tools required for industrial maintenance tasks. Preferred Skills Direct experience maintaining and troubleshooting injection molding machinery. Current certification or ability to complete training for forklift and scissor lift operation. Proven track record of following Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) and other critical safety procedures. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively as an independent contributor or within a team.
