Duties and Responsibilities Maintain and follow established safety standards and procedures at all times. Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly workplace (5S / housekeeping). Assist co-workers as needed to support team and departmental objectives. Assemble subassemblies and final assemblies in accordance with blueprints and work instructions. Use a wide range of hand tools, including but not limited to: cordless drills, thread taps, combination wrenches, tape measures, carpenter squares, pry bars, combination squares, pneumatic impact guns, and sledgehammers. Operate drill press, hydraulic press, and band saw equipment to complete assigned tasks. Build, test, and inspect completed job assignments; verify conformance to specifications and document results as required by the QMS. Identify and report nonconforming products, unsafe conditions, or process deviations in accordance with the organization's nonconformance and corrective action procedures. Physically fit; able to repetitively lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Able to read a tape measure to 1/16-inch increments. Prior work experience or education in at least one of the following: electrical, plumbing, hydraulic controls, mechanics, or machinery maintenance. Desired Qualifications Sit-down forklift experience. Overhead crane and hoist experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact effectively with co-workers and management. Able to work in a team environment and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, as required. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to multitask across concurrent assignments. Excellent attendance record. 1-2 years of prior electromechanical assembly experience.
