This recruitment is open until filled. Bartlett Regional Hospital is looking for a Home Attendant to join our Wildflower Court team!
Pay Information:
Internal Hires:
Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based on applicable Rules or Union Contract Terms.
External Hires:
This position starts at $21.59 per hour. Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
Please Note:
In lieu of fringe benefits, Casual employees will receive a $2.00 per hour differential in addition to their hourly rate.
Job Summary:
Home Attendant:
Incumbents provide a variety of unlicensed tasks to the residents of Wildflower Court under the direction of the Lead Home Attendant. Home Attendants may assist residents with housekeeping, light meal preparation, light errands, assisting with transportation, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications for the position:
Preferred Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience caring for the elderly or disabled or providing care in a medical facility. Preferred License(s): Current State of Alaska Driver's License Certification(s)
Required:
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire. Food Workers Card within 30 days of hire. CPI training (TEAM/BERT or similar as approved) within 90 days of hire.
