Job Duties Assist Maintenance Technicians with routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility. Help troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility-related issues. Assist with preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, conveyors, and other production systems. Use basic hand and power tools safely and properly. Help inspect equipment and report maintenance issues or potential problems. Assist with replacing belts, bearings, hoses, filters, and other components as directed. Keep maintenance areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized. Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and OSHA guidelines. Assist with emergency repairs and respond to equipment issues as needed. Perform general facility maintenance and other duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Technical school, vocational training, or industrial maintenance certification preferred. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience Requirements Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic equipment. Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, blueprints, or equipment documentation. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and preventative maintenance practices. Previous maintenance, mechanical, construction, or industrial experience preferred. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related technical environment is preferred. Experience performing preventative maintenance programs and responding to equipment breakdowns is beneficial. Knowledge of PLCs, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or fabrication is considered an asset.
