A Maintenance Helper or Assistant assists maintenance mechanics. Repairs and maintains equipment and machines, such as cars or heating systems. May assemble or adjust machines as directed by a head mechanic.
Primarily responsible for maintaining preventative maintenance (PM) schedule, including generation, scheduling and completion and assisting the Maintenance Planner/Scheduler plan weekly maintenance scheduling workload for assigned location(s).
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Under direction of the Maintenance Scheduler/ Planner, assist with scheduling maintenance work orders, maximizing efficiency and productivity Generate, schedule and validate completion of preventative maintenance, including Utilities, update PM chart upon completion Stage planned work daily, ensuring maintenance team members understand order of work Assist maintenance team members as needed Other duties as assigned by management

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent

Strong computer skills with ability to prioritize information Must have exceptional communication, both verbal and written, in English; bi-lingual preferred Strong customer focus with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization in a timely and professional manner Ability to appropriately handle situations and resolve issues efficiently and effectively Ability to work in a fast paced environment using excellent organizational skills and precise attention to detail Must possess a strong customer-centric attitude, high energy level and a strong sense of urgency
