Apartment Maintenance Technician -

Hartselle, Alabama Pay:

$17.00-$18.00 DOE Personnel Staffing, Inc. is currently seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to assist with the upkeep of affordable housing apartment communities in Hartselle, AL . This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, dependable, and takes pride in maintaining safe and comfortable living environments for residents.

Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance and repair work in apartments and common areas Complete work orders including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and basic carpentry repairs Assist with apartment turns and unit preparation for new residents Maintain property grounds and ensure buildings are in good condition Identify maintenance issues and report any larger repairs needed Follow safety procedures and company maintenance standards

Qualifications:

Previous maintenance experience preferred (apartment or property maintenance is a plus) Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Reliable transportation and good work ethic Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a 10-panel drug screen.
