The Tennis Center is to be maintained on a daily basis by following the directions on the daily task schedule and by making sure all equipment is serviced to complete daily assignments. Specific court maintenance includes but is not limited to: Grooming of clay courts - water, roll, brush and sweep lines. Become familiar with irrigation systems for repairs, replacement and adjusting of sprinkler heads. Add clay, calcium chloride, baking soda and weed killer to the clay courts as needed. Supply and maintain cleanliness of court items such as water coolers, benches, trays, cone cups, trash cans, slabs and Tennie 2 Steps. Replace/repair windscreens as needed. Specific ground maintenance includes but is not limited to: Mow and trim grass in and around the Tennis Center and its perimeter. Prune, weed, fertilize, apply herbicides, mulch ant and insect killer as needed. Use gas powered blower to remove grass, litter, etc. from sidewalks and parking lot. Gather and separate all recyclable materials and place them into appropriate recycling bins. Bag other garbage and place in dumpster. Keep storage and equipment areas clean and organized. Repair and replace fencing/gate equipment as needed.
