Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Staff member to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facility's equipment, systems, and infrastructure. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors alike. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair equipment using schematics, electrical experience, mechanical knowledge, and tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing repairs, electrical wiring, welding, and residential painting as needed. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory. Supervise or assist with small projects involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, or welding tasks. Ensure all safety protocols are followed during maintenance activities; document incidents or repairs accurately. Support the team by providing excellent customer service to staff members requiring assistance with facilities issues. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a healthcare or manufacturing setting. Strong electrical experience with knowledge of schematics and the use of tools like ohmmeters. Mechanical knowledge including welding skills and familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Ability to read technical schematics and perform troubleshooting on complex systems. Experience in residential painting or general building upkeep is a plus. Supervising or leadership experience in maintenance operations is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English; ability to collaborate effectively with team members. Valid certifications in electrical work, welding, or related fields are advantageous.
