We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Hotel Maintenance Person to help keep the hotel, building, and surrounding property clean, safe, and well-maintained. Duties & Responsibilities Remove trash and garbage from inside the hotel and from the exterior hotel premises. Keep outdoor areas, parking areas, walkways, and common areas clean and presentable. Perform basic plumbing repairs, such as fixing minor leaks, replacing faucets, unclogging drains, and making minor repairs. Perform basic electrical maintenance, such as changing light bulbs, replacing light fixtures when qualified, and addressing minor electrical issues. Perform general building maintenance and repairs as needed. Inspect hotel rooms and common areas for maintenance issues and report or repair problems when possible. Assist with painting, patching walls, replacing hardware, and other general repairs. Move, lift, carry, and organize supplies, furniture, equipment, and other hotel items as needed. Keep maintenance areas, storage rooms, and equipment organized and clean. Assist with setting up and moving furniture or equipment for hotel operations. Help maintain hotel grounds and exterior areas. Respond to maintenance requests from hotel management and staff in a timely manner. Follow all hotel safety procedures and use tools and equipment properly. Report major or specialized electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or structural problems to management or a qualified professional. Perform other general maintenance and cleaning duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous hotel, building, maintenance, or handyman experience preferred. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs. Must be able to speak and understand English. Ability to safely lift and move supplies, furniture, and equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable, punctual, and hardworking. Must maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.

Pay:

$11.00 - $13.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
