Overview Ridgefield Rice is seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance technician to support the daily operations of our rice milling facility in Wynne, AR. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventative maintenance on mill machinery and equipment to help ensure sage and efficient production. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, able to diagnose equipment issues, and comfortable working in an industrial environment. Working with motors, bearings, belts, conveyers, bucket elevators, gearboxes, pumps, pneumatic systems, and other production equipment. Experience with industrial electrical systems, welding, fabrication, and troubleshooting is highly valued. This is a hands-on position that requires someone who can identify problems, determine appropriate repairs, and respond quickly when equipment issues effect production. The Maintenance technician will also perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. We are looking for someone who is safety conscious, dependable, self-motivated, and willing to work as part of a team to keep the mill operating safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and milling equipment. Perform preventative scheduled maintenance to minimize equipment downtime. Inspect equipment regularly and identify potential mechanical or electrical problems before failures occur. Maintain and repair conveyors, bucket elevators, motors, bearings, belts, pulleys, gearboxes, pumps, pneumatic systems, and other mill equipment. Diagnose mechanical problems and make necessary repairs or adjustments. Assist with troubleshooting industrial electrical equipment and controls based on experience and qualifications. Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment modifications as needed. Replace worn or damaged components and assist with equipment instulations. Respond to equipment breakdowns and production related maintenance needs in a timely manner. Maintain tools, equipment, maintenance areas, and spare parts in an organized condition. Communicate equipment issues, repairs, and maintenance needs to management and production personnel. Assist with facility maintenance and other maintenance related duties as needed. Qualifications Previous mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability. Experience working with motors, bearings, conveyers, belts, gearboxes, and other industrial equipment preferred. Welding and fabrication experience is preferred. Industrial electrical experience, including familiarity with 3-phase electrical systems, is highly desirable. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance equipment. Ability to read equipment manuals, diagrams, and basic schematics is preferred. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team. Dependable attendance and the ability to respond appropriately to changing production and maintenance priorities. Physical Requirements & Work Environment This position works in an active rice milling and industrial production environment. Employees may be exposed to dust, noise, heat, cold, moving machinery, and varying environmental conditions. the position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods; climb stairs and ladders; bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, and pull; work at various heights when properly protected; and lift and carry materials, tools, and equipment as required by the job. Employees must be able to safely work around operating machinery and wear required personal protective equipment. Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
