Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be capable of performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and facilities to identify issues before they become major problems. Perform repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC units as needed. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter and schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. Fabricate and weld components as required for repairs or modifications. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Assist with residential painting tasks to enhance the appearance of facilities. Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other maintenance staff to complete larger projects efficiently. Skills Proficient in mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting techniques. Experience with electrical systems, including the use of an ohmmeter and reading schematics. Ability to weld and fabricate materials for various maintenance needs. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Familiarity with residential painting techniques is a plus. A proactive attitude towards maintaining equipment and facilities in optimal condition.
