A Maintenance Helper or Assistant assists maintenance mechanics. Repairs and maintains equipment and machines, such as cars or heating systems. May assemble or adjust machines as directed by a head mechanic.
Transport community residents to and from medical appointments, activities and shopping errands using a community-owned vehicle Assist residents in getting into and out of the vehicle, carrying packages and opening doors Maintain vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with Majestic Rim standards Deliver excellent customer service while performing maintenance in apartments and common areas Perform preventive maintenance, complete work orders, and assist the Maintenance Director Follow procedures for safety, sanitation, and hazard prevention
Qualifications:
Outstanding customer service skills Positive attitude with ability to work in a team environment Strong communication and listening skills Strong organization and time management skills Must possess a current state driver's license and have a clean driving record Must have proof of personal automobile insurance Must have 1 year of maintenance or handyman experience Must be able to climb, bend, lift, stoop, kneel, crawl, push, reach, carry, and stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs Able to read, write, and speak English Must be able to pass a criminal background check
