General Purpose Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Worker maintains Ampla Health facilities by performing general building, equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and grounds maintenance to ensure safe, functional, and accessible clinic environments. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and preventative maintenance at all Ampla Health locations. Maintain HVAC filter schedules and report equipment deficiencies. Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment concerns. Perform repairs involving floors, toilets, roofs, stucco, concrete, painting, doors, windows, locks, and other building components. Assist with minor plumbing and electrical work, framing, drywall, doors, windows, ceilings, baseboards, and cabinets. Maintain inventory of parts, supplies, and equipment and coordinate orders as needed. Assist with moving office furniture, parking lot maintenance, landscaping, and other facility needs. Maintain safe and clean work environments and monitor facility conditions. Diagnose maintenance issues and recommend appropriate solutions. Travel to various Ampla Health locations as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum five (5) years of general building maintenance experience required. Ability to safely operate common maintenance tools and equipment, including drills, saws, nail guns, ladders, and other hand/power tools. Knowledge of general building maintenance, repair, and remodeling. Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with staff, management, patients, and vendors. Reliable transportation and necessary tools to perform maintenance duties. Ability to travel between Ampla Health locations. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 80 pounds . Ability to bend, squat, kneel, stand, twist, reach above shoulder level, and perform physical maintenance activities. Ability to climb and walk on roofs when required. Ability to work safely outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to hear and communicate effectively by phone and in person.
GENERAL PURPOSE
Under the Facility Manager supervision, the Maintenance Worker maintains building environment and accessibility for Ampla Health's sites by maintaining building equipment, heating, cooling, electrical, plumbing systems, drywall, tape, texture, paint and grounds.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Maintains a schedule for removal and replacement of HVAC filter. Advises Facility Manager of any deficiencies in the system at all site Maintains continuity by documenting maintenance actions, noting system or equipment irregularities requiring continued monitoring Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations, and monitoring sites housekeeping cleaning Maintains parts and equipment inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level: anticipate needed parts and equipment placing and expediting orders for parts and equipment; verifying receipt of parts and equipment Assists in moving office furniture Assists in cleaning parking lots and landscaping work, when required Performs repairs at all sites (floors, toilets, roofs, stucco, concrete, painting, doors, windows, and locks) Does remodeling (minor plumbing and electrical work. Frame work, sheet rock, installation of doors, windows, ceiling beams, baseboards, and cabinets) Performs other duties as directed by supervisor

PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
High School Graduate Must have at least five (5) years of experience in general building maintenance Maintains good working relationship with management and staff Ability to operate electrical drills, skill saw, nail gun, staple gun sanding machine, etc. Ability to use chain saw, ladders, hammer, etc. Ability to respond to common inquires and complaints form staff Ability to effectively present information to staff and supervisor Ability to respond to common inquires and complaints from staff Ability to diagnose problems and recommend solutions Demonstrate clear knowledge of Ampla Health's clinic structure, standards, procedures and protocols
COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS
Must have neat and legible handwriting Must be able to interact with patients courteously and calmly Ability to communicate well with the public
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Works well with patients in a generally comfortable environment office. Employees must possess the following physical requirements: Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs. Must be able to reach above the shoulder level to work, must be able to bend, squat and sit, stand, and twist Must be able to hear staff on phone and speak clearly in order to communicate information Must be able to climb and walk on the roof Must be able to work safely out-of-doors in all weather Must possess a reliable truck and all the necessary tools to perform any maintenance work Must be prepared to drive to any clinic to perform a specific task
