Chico Properties is looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position responsible for maintaining residential rental properties and responding to maintenance needs from tenants.

Chico, CA Job Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repairs at residential rental properties Handle light plumbing repairs , including faucets, toilets, drains, and minor leaks Perform light electrical work , such as replacing switches, outlets, fixtures, and other basic repairs Install and repair flooring , including vinyl, laminate, and other flooring materials Perform drywall repairs, patching, painting, and general property upkeep Complete routine property inspections and identify maintenance issues Respond to tenant maintenance calls and service requests Troubleshoot maintenance problems and determine the appropriate repair Assist with preparing rental units for new tenants Complete preventative maintenance and general property improvements Maintain clean and safe work areas Pick up materials and supplies as needed Communicate professionally with tenants, property management, and vendors Handle other maintenance duties as needed Qualifications Previous residential or property maintenance experience preferred Experience with basic plumbing and electrical repairs Flooring installation experience preferred Ability to use common hand and power tools Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Good communication and customer service skills Must be dependable, organized, and able to respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner Ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical maintenance duties

The ideal candidate has a variety of basic maintenance skills and can handle different types of repairs without needing constant supervision.
