About Us:

Chuckwalla Valley Raceway (CVR) hosts a wide variety of motorsports events, from track days to professional racing events. We pride ourselves on providing a top-notch experience for our guests and racers, and we're looking for a dedicated Maintenance Worker to help keep our facility in peak condition. As a Maintenance Worker at CVR, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our track and facilities are always ready for action. You'll handle a mix of hands-on work across the property — from track surface repair and small engine work to janitorial duties and cabin upkeep. Compensation provided for commuters from the Coachella Valley and Blythe.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform track repair and upkeep, including patching asphalt, maintaining curbing and runoff areas, and keeping the racing surface safe and race-ready. Perform small engine repair and maintenance on mowers, blowers, generators, golf carts, and other powered equipment. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the pit area, garages, and other facility structures. Handle small household repairs in on-site cabins and buildings — plumbing fixtures, lighting, doors, locks, and general fix-it work. Perform janitorial duties, including restrooms, trash removal, and keeping common areas clean for guests and racers. Perform landscaping duties, including mowing, trimming, and irrigation maintenance. Assist with the setup and breakdown of event-related equipment. Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address potential issues. Operate various tools, equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently. Collaborate with the team to ensure the track meets safety standards. Respond to maintenance emergencies promptly to minimize disruptions. Assist in maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
