In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and upkeep of our building systems and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment for all staff and visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills across a variety of maintenance tasks, contributing directly to the smooth functioning of our facilities. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and mechanical equipment. Repair and troubleshoot electrical equipment using schematics, wiring diagrams, and tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct HVAC system repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal climate control within the facility. Carry out plumbing system maintenance including repairs to pipes, fixtures, and drainage systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete maintenance tasks efficiently. Maintain facilities equipment by conducting repairs, replacements, and upgrades as needed. Perform painting tasks including maintenance painting and residential painting to uphold the aesthetic standards of the building interior. Supervise or assist in the training of junior maintenance staff; demonstrate leadership in team projects. Read and interpret schematics for electrical wiring, plumbing layouts, or mechanical systems to facilitate accurate repairs. Ensure compliance with safety standards during all maintenance activities and document work performed accurately. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Proficiency in electrical work including repair of electrical equipment and understanding of schematics. Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair and plumbing system maintenance. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics interpretation. Knowledge of maintenance painting techniques and residential interior upkeep. Ability to operate testing devices such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting. Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork coordination. Supervising or leadership experience is preferred to foster team collaboration. Familiarity with Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) practices to ensure efficient facility management. Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple tasks effectively.
