Maintenance Worker Dynasty Employment Solutions Los Angeles, CA Job Details Full-time $20 - $21 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork English Attention to detail Power tools Hand tools Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Helper supports the maintenance team in keeping bakery production equipment, facilities, and grounds in safe, clean, and reliable working order. This is a hands-on entry-level role, ideal for someone mechanically inclined who wants to build a career in industrial/food production maintenance. Responsibilities Assist maintenance technicians with routine inspection, cleaning, lubrication, and minor repair of production equipment (mixers, ovens, proofers, conveyors, packaging lines) Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks and record completed work in maintenance logs Help troubleshoot minor mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues under supervision Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop, tools, and parts inventory Assist with facility upkeep: lighting, doors, flooring, drains, HVAC filters, and general building repairs Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns during shift Support installation, moving, and setup of equipment as needed Follow all food safety (GFSI), sanitation, and workplace safety protocols (lockout/tagout, PPE, chemical handling) Keep accurate records of parts used and notify supervisor of low inventory Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Facilities Manager Skills Basic proficiency with hand and power tools Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment repair Ability to read and follow maintenance checklists and written/verbal instructions Basic troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues Time management and ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests Attention to detail, especially around food safety and sanitation standards Physical stamina — lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking for long periods Teamwork and clear communication with technicians and supervisors Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
