Job Summary We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Residential Remodel & Property Maintenance Technician with experience in construction to work on rental homes and residential properties throughout various locations such as Santa Rosa, Napa, and Sausalito. You will report to the Construction Superintendent and the Property Manager, assisting with residential remodels, rental unit turns, ongoing property maintenance, and repairs across multiple properties. We need someone with proven residential remodeling and construction experience who is comfortable working across multiple trades and can take direction, troubleshoot issues, and complete assigned work efficiently and professionally. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who already knows their way around residential construction and maintenance and can contribute immediately. Key Responsibilities

• Residential remodels and rental property renovations
• Apartment/home unit turns and punch-list work
• Demo and preparation for remodel projects
• Drywall installation, patching, texture, and repair
• Interior and exterior painting
• Basic carpentry, including trim, baseboards, doors, cabinets, shelving, and hardware
• Basic plumbing repairs and fixture replacement
• Basic electrical repairs, including switches, outlets, light fixtures, and similar items
• Flooring and general finish work
• Installation of appliances, fixtures, locks, doors, and other residential components
• General property maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting
• Complete work assigned by the Superintendent and/or Property Manager and communicate progress or issues
• Load, unload, move, and dispose of construction materials and debris
• Operate basic equipment such as tractors, trailers, dumpsters, power tools, and other jobsite equipment
• Keep jobsites clean, safe, and organized
• Travel between rental properties to complete repairs, maintenance, and remodel work as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience of at least 5-10 years in rental property, apartment renovation, or residential turnover experience strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of carpentry, drywall, painting, basic plumbing, basic electrical, and general repairs
• Comfortable working across multiple trades and handling different types of projects
• Able to troubleshoot problems and determine practical repair solutions
• Able to follow direction while also working independently on assigned tasks
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic construction/property equipment
• Physically able to perform hands-on construction work, including regularly lifting and moving tools, equipment, construction materials, and debris
• Dependable, organized, and able to work effectively with a Superintendent, Property Manager, vendors, and other crew members
• Strong attention to detail and pride in clean, professional work
• Valid driver's license and vehicle required
• Must be able and willing to drive between rental properties and jobsites in Santa Rosa, Napa, Sausalito, and surrounding areas Schedule & Compensation Full-time employee position $25.00
