Primarily daytime hours, including some weekends and holidays based on operational needs About the Role Haustay Vacation Rentals is looking for a dependable, hardworking Field Operations Associate to support the day-to-day operations of our growing portfolio of vacation rental properties throughout North County San Diego. This is a hands-on, fast-moving role for someone who enjoys staying active, solving problems, and making sure things get where they need to go. You will work closely with our Operations Manager, housekeeping team, and maintenance staff to support property turnovers, laundry, linen distribution, inventory, warehouse organization, property restocking, and miscellaneous field needs. No two days will look exactly the same. One morning you may be organizing linens and supplies in our Oceanside warehouse; later that day, you may be delivering towels to a property, restocking guest supplies, checking a home before arrival, or helping our maintenance team with a project. This role is an important part of keeping Haustay's properties operating smoothly and ensuring our homes are fully prepared for every guest. What You'll Do Laundry & Linen Operations Wash, dry, fold, organize, and prepare linens and towels for vacation rental properties Maintain organized linen inventory in our Oceanside warehouse Prepare linen and supply orders for upcoming property turnovers Deliver and retrieve linens from properties as needed Identify damaged, stained, or worn linens and remove them from circulation Help maintain consistent linen and laundry quality standards Property Restocking & Deliveries Deliver supplies, linens, equipment, and other items to properties throughout North County San Diego Restock guest essentials such as paper products, toiletries, kitchen supplies, and other property inventory Deliver replacement items when something is missing or damaged Assist with delivery and pickup of items such as Pack 'n Plays, high chairs, fans, heaters, and other guest equipment Pick up and document lost-and-found items when necessary Property Support Perform basic property checks and confirm homes are ready for arriving guests Assist with light quality-control inspections when requested Check that supplies, linens, and basic property items are properly stocked Report maintenance, cleanliness, damage, or safety issues immediately Assist housekeeping or maintenance teams during high-volume turnover days Help resolve simple operational issues when appropriate Take photos and document property conditions using company apps Warehouse & Inventory Keep the Haustay warehouse clean, safe, and organized Receive and organize incoming inventory and supplies Monitor commonly used supplies and notify management when inventory is running low Assemble supply kits and restocking materials for properties Maintain organization of linens, cleaning supplies, equipment, tools, and guest amenities Help track inventory moving between the warehouse and properties General Field Operations Run operational errands throughout North County San Diego Assist with trash and recycling needs when necessary Move small furniture, supplies, equipment, and property items Assist maintenance technicians with basic tasks that do not require specialized trade skills Support property onboarding by delivering and organizing supplies and equipment Help with emergency property needs when required Perform other operational duties necessary to keep properties guest-ready What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is dependable, efficient, organized, and willing to jump in wherever help is needed.
