Leading university (Stanford, CA 94305 - Onsite) W2 Employment. Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL 40 hours/week, 5 Month Assignment A leading university seeks a Maintenance Person II to perform a variety of maintenance duties, including carpentry repair and related trade work, under general supervision.

Maintenance Person II Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance duties of moderate complexity under general supervision, working within prescribed procedures while making independent choices between predefined options. Repair and restore furniture, repair door jambs and stops, remove and plane doors to fit, and replace door locks. Patch holes in walls and ceilings, repair or replace chalkboard, and paint interior walls and partitions, build shelves and bookcases, and replace broken windows.

Maintenance Person II Qualifications:

4+ years of relevant experience. Valid California Class C Noncommercial Driver's License required. Ability to perform heavy manual labor in all types of outside weather conditions, including standing, walking, and frequent forceful grasping and lifting up to 20 pounds. Skilled in carpentry and maintenance practices with a good work ethic. Ability to use a cellphone for timecard entry and messaging customers/coworkers.

Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. (H)
