Job Title:
Facilities Attendant Job Description The Facilities Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while supporting daily facility operations. This role assists guests and team members, maintains clean and organized work areas, handles routine operational tasks, and helps ensure a safe, welcoming, and professional environment. Responsibilities Provide friendly, prompt, and professional customer service to guests and team members. Assist guests with questions, directions, and basic operational support. Maintain cleanliness and organization of floors, restrooms, common areas, workstations, and other facility spaces. Restock supplies and materials throughout the facility as needed. Support the setup, breakdown, and movement of furniture, equipment, and work areas for daily operations and special events. Conduct routine inspections of public and operational areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Monitor facility conditions and promptly report maintenance, equipment, or safety concerns. Assist with light housekeeping, tidying, and general upkeep responsibilities. Follow company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards. Perform other duties as assigned to support facility operations and guest satisfaction. Essential Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members. High attention to detail when maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety standards. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor. Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently. Ability to obtain and maintain any required certifications or licenses. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Minimum age requirement of at least 21 years. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, facilities support, or related environments. Experience handling cash transactions and operating basic point-of-sale systems. Knowledge of workplace safety and cleanliness standards. Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude. Background in cleaning, janitorial services, general labor, or housekeeping is beneficial. Experience in porter or facilities attendant roles is an advantage. Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices in a facilities setting. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vallejo, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
