Our client is seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Assistant in Aurora, CO Aurora, CO 80011 Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm Project assignment 2 months possibly longer Facilities Maintenance Assistant supports the maintenance team in repairing, remodeling, and maintaining warehouse facilities. This position assists with construction projects, general building repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility improvements to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. Key Responsibilities Assist maintenance technician with warehouse repair and remodeling projects. Help with painting, drywall repair, flooring installation, and basic carpentry tasks. Perform general maintenance duties, including replacing fixtures, repairing doors, and maintaining warehouse equipment and work areas. Move materials, tools, and equipment as needed for maintenance projects. Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance shops, storage areas, and work sites. Conduct facility inspections and report repair needs to supervisors. Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Support preventive maintenance programs and facility improvement initiatives. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in maintenance, construction, warehouse operations, or a related field is a plus. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools. Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods. Willingness to learn maintenance and repair skills. Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills.
