Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment using schematics and technical manuals; utilize hand tools and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters. Conduct HVAC system repairs, including replacing filters, repairing ductwork, and troubleshooting thermostats to maintain comfortable indoor environments. Carry out plumbing maintenance tasks such as fixing leaks, replacing fixtures, and maintaining plumbing systems to prevent disruptions. Assist with building interior maintenance including painting, carpentry repairs, drywall patching, and general facilities upkeep to enhance the aesthetic appeal. Use schematics and technical diagrams to diagnose issues with facilities equipment; perform welding or other mechanical repairs as needed. Support maintenance painting projects and assist with the upkeep of building interiors to ensure a clean and professional appearance. Operate hand tools and power equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols; maintain records of work performed for compliance purposes. Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and complete maintenance requests efficiently; demonstrate leadership in guiding less experienced staff when appropriate. Experience Proven experience in maintenance or repair roles within residential or commercial settings; familiarity with facilities maintenance is preferred. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical systems enhances your ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical work, welding, carpentry, and painting is highly desirable. Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics confidently; experience with electrical equipment repair using tools like ohmmeters is advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills ensures effective communication with team members and clients alike. Experience working with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) supplies and understanding building interior maintenance processes are valued assets. Demonstrated leadership qualities; ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
