Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Maintenance Assistant, where your expertise will keep our property in top condition and ensure an exceptional guest experience. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of facilities and equipment, contributing to a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. Your proactive approach and technical skills will help uphold the highest standards of building maintenance and operational efficiency. Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical equipment, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation. Carry out carpentry tasks including maintenance painting, drywall repairs, door adjustments, and furniture fixes to maintain a polished appearance. Maintain plumbing systems by repairing leaks, unclogging drains, and servicing fixtures to ensure safety and functionality. Use electrical experience to repair wiring, switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, and electrical panels following safety protocols. Support building interior maintenance projects with skills in residential painting and facilities upkeep to enhance the guest environment. Read schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately; document all repairs and maintenance activities thoroughly. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or building operations within a hospitality or commercial environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools and electrical testing devices. Familiarity with HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical work, carpentry, and general building interior upkeep. Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately; experience with electrical work including troubleshooting with ohmmeters preferred. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
