Job Description
Parks Maintenance Worker I or II The Town of Timnath is seeking motivated individuals to join our Parks & Recreation team. This position helps maintain the Town's parks, trails, open spaces, facilities, and landscapes. Candidates may be hired at either the Parks Maintenance Worker I or Parks Maintenance Worker II level based on qualifications, knowledge and experience. What You'll Do Maintain parks, trails, open spaces, and Town facilities. Perform mowing, landscaping, irrigation repairs, tree care, painting, and general maintenance. Operate hand tools, power tools, mowers, and other maintenance equipment. Inspect and repair park facilities and equipment. Assist with irrigation maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting Snow removal on trails and facilities in winter. Provide excellent customer service while working safely and effectively as part of a team. Other duties as assigned, this list in not intended to be all inclusive. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or GED required. Valid Colorado Driver's License required. Ability to perform physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Strong teamwork and communication skills. For the Parks Maintenance Worker II level, two (2) years of experience in a municipal parks' environment, landscaping, irrigation, turf maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
