Job Description

The Raleigh House is looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Worker / Ranch Hand to help maintain our beautiful campus and support the daily operations that make our environment safe, welcoming, and therapeutic for our clients. No two days are exactly the same. One day you may be repairing a fence, maintaining our fleet vehicles, or troubleshooting a plumbing issue. The next day, you may be landscaping, assisting with special projects, or supporting our equine program. If you enjoy variety, teamwork, and taking pride in your work, we'd love to meet you. As a member of our Facilities team, you'll help ensure our campus and grounds remain safe, functional, and beautiful for our clients, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities include:
Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Maintain the grounds through landscaping, mowing, irrigation, snow removal, and seasonal upkeep. Complete basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and repair projects. Maintain equipment, tools, and fleet vehicles to ensure safe operation. Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot facility issues. Assist with campus improvement projects and property enhancements. Support our equine facilities and outdoor spaces as needed. Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are required. Help maintain a safe, organized, and professional environment across the campus. We're looking for someone who: Is mechanically inclined and enjoys troubleshooting problems. Has experience with general maintenance, landscaping, construction, painting or facilities work. Enjoys working both indoors and outdoors in all seasons. Takes initiative and works independently while also being a team player. Is dependable, organized, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. Can safely operate maintenance equipment, power tools, and machinery. Is comfortable performing physically active work, including lifting, climbing, bending, and working in varying weather conditions. Experience in facilities maintenance, ranch operations, landscaping, construction, property maintenance, or a related trade is preferred. Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
