Job Description

Cobalt Health Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a skilled nursing facility designed specifically to provide high quality care and a lifestyle that encourages socializing and independence for all residents. Our skilled staff are caring, and treat residents like family. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant.
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for the assisting the Maintenance Department in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local law Maintains all preventative maintenance schedules and performs daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annually, and annual inspections per policies and procedures and meets all regulatory requirements. Cleans, lubricates, and properly stores maintenance tools/equipment. Makes simple carpentry repairs and provides minor cosmetic upkeep such as painting. Attends to all repair requisitions, prioritizing, allocating job repairs and follow-up. Monitors all electrical and safety equipment. Performs the testing on the emergency generator as required (weekly/monthly load tests). Will maintain a professional and working relationship with all vendors, contracted services, and the corporate purchasing director related to maintenance supplies, services, and equipment. At least a high school diploma. Must be able to read write and speak English Must be willing to cooperate with all other department staff as an integral part of the overall Health Care Team. Must understand and respect resident's rights. Must work in a confidential manner. This is a family oriented facility and a great place to work.

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
